Wisdom is the Gift that keeps on giving
Each year we are a harried bunch, trying very dearly to become what we should have already been throughout the year, which is very simple - we should always have been, even when we are angry, Wise enough to know what we need to know, wise enough to heed the inner Knowing which each and every one of us understands as being our own. Our own Soul's Wisdom is the priceless gift that we are given everyday by Spirit.
Some of us, though, are more inclined to see only with the Ego's eyes, and more of us are more inclined to ignore the pining of the Soul, more inclined to allow things to just be as they are without even the very thought within us that things need to be better for us, things need resolve, and that we should be very unafraid of our very own Soul's Power.
We are all endowed with the gift of Being, and just that alone should incline us to want to know more, to have more, to Be all we are meant to, but too many of us would rather ignore the leanings and the pining and the very whispers of the Soul masqueraded behind the tears of heartache. We would sooner live in the miry depths of what was, worried about what we had, not thinking that the reason that those things and that life is gone with reason, and normally that good reason is because we have grown past the usefulness of what was. We all like to live in what was because what was is easy. We have lived through what was, but not one of us can say that we have lived through what currently is. Even as what currently is might be exactly the same energy as what was, it is far different than what it was because what was cannot ever be again. We might handle what is at this very moment in the same manner as we had in the past, but the part that perplexes us is not that we have to go through it again, but that we have evolved in the time that has passed since last we went through this stuff. The reason that we are uncomfortable in the energy of what is happening now is because we are trying hard to "fix" what is happening right now according to what was, and we are each so not what we were just even a month ago that when we try hard to do what we used to do in order to get through what we have in front of us, it is because we keep on trying to fix it with the tools we thought we had rather than the ones we have been given by our very own soul.
We buy gifts for people and we try hard to make it possible that what we buy them they will love, but we are not thinking in the manner of who we are in relation to them, in relation to what it is that we have brought to them throughout the entirety of the year, that when we think about what it is that we are getting ready to purchase we are only thinking about them and not also including ourselves in the process. What we do when we give a gift is give what is also an extension of who we really are at our Soul's level, and at our Soul's level we are not able to not create for anyone else unless we can also create for ourselves the same energy that we want our Tribe to know is the real gift. The gift that we give is not the actual gift but is a representative thought of our inner world in relation to the person receiving that tangible gift of the Soul within us.
Think before you buy something for someone else, because in that thinking are held the kernels of what is really there, what is at the bottom of the energy that is between one person and many, one person and one other person, and of course, one person and their very inner soulful Self.
Try hard to think about who you are to the people who you are gifting this year and with what, and when you leave today on your trek to find that perfect gift, remember always that they will love it anyway because it is from you, but how much sweeter can you think it will be when they can look at that gift and see not only them in it, but also, you.
You must ask yourself "What thought will this bring to this person when they see this representation of who they are in relation to me?" We think so hard about the perfect gift to give just one time,once a year, but we rarely think about the thought behind the gift, about what we were thinking when we saw it.
There is a reason that you thought it would be perfect for them, but how much of you did you see in it really?
Something to think about, isn't it?
Wisdom...it is something that all of us has, is something that is rarely used, and funny...it is the only real and permanent thing other than Love that we each all can lay claim to. Most of us practice Love, but very few of us put our inner Wisdom to practice. This year, try using the Wisdom within - you will be astounded at the difference in energy, not only in the recipient, but more, your Self!
